Stuart Pickell, MD
Stuart Pickell, MD is an experienced primary care physician who has lived and practiced in Fort Worth for over 20 years. Originally from Virginia, he is a graduate of William & Mary Princeton Theological Seminary and UT Southwestern Medical School. He has professional experience in both parish ministry and as a primary care physician. Having completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Dr. Pickell is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Palm Primary Care – Tanglewood clinic.
In addition to his primary care practice, Dr. Pickell is a Professor of Internal Medicine at the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU where he is also the Ethics Theme Lead. He is the former President of the Tarrant County Medical Society, serves as a Vice Councilor on the Texas Medical Association’s Board of Councilors, and as Vice President of the TMA Foundation. He is a member of several local ethics committees, and the Medical Director of Project Access, a volunteer organization that helps underserved populations access specialty care. He enjoys time with family, traveling, new experiences and playing the piano and guitar.
